Leica T Launch Social Wall
Leica T-System and Leica T Camera Launch @ National Design Centre

Holding a long heritage of over 165 years in quality German engineering, Leica hand-crafts the world’s finest cameras, brilliant lenses and sport optic tools. With this in mind Leica launched the new Leica T-System in Singapore and in conjunction with the Leica T camera.
A special open house held in a gallery themed display at the National Design Centre was held in the evening with speeches from both local and foreign dignitaries of Leica and the photography scene. In addition to trying out the newest addition to the Leica family for themselves, guests at the event enjoyed a multi-sensory experience of the Leica T, set in an exhibition of incredible images photographed by the new Leica camera system.
Some special qualities of the Leica T camera are that the body is crafted out of a single block of aluminum, it is the first Leica to have built-in WiFi capabilities, and numerous cosmetic enhancements (like a hidden viewfinder) make the device a joy to marvel and hold. After the launch, the show opened to the public the next day for those keen on having a hands-on experience with the new camera – a privilege as the event in Singapore entitles them to be some of the first in Southeast Asia to touch and see it.
In line with the Leica T’s pure metal body, an aluminum textured screen was set up in the main stage area, acting as a social media wall. We set it up so that guests could post their photos onto social media and have it appear on the screen instantly. At around the same period, other Leica groups around the world also joined in to hashtag to #LeicaT to be part of the launch festivities.
