Renault’s fourth-generation Clio debuted in Singapore with a launch held at Wearnes Automotive’s annual Renault Sports F1 showcase at Kallang Wave Mall. This year’s event included the trademark car models and promotions, activities, fun for all ages and a special guest…
Like the special appearance of Daniil Kvyat the previous year, this year’s guest was none other than Torro Rosso’s driver Max Verstappen – the youngest F1 driver at just 17 years of age – and son of former F1 driver Jos Verstappen. With a grand opening, Max drove onto the stage in the futuristic Renault Twizy, and proceeded to take questions and photos with the public.
The photo booths and social media prints on the ground were augmented by specially themed interactive backdrops for photo taking. Visitors could have the choice of either posing on a trophy podium with F1 star drivers, or taking a spin with friends and family in the new Clio.
Being fully automated,each photo booth provided hours of self-service entertainment for the public-complete with instant photos and special tear-away coupon media. In addition,visitors could choose to take on-site photos, and print special themed badges for a take-away special memento.
