Singapore Kindness Movement: Social Media Photo Booth

Awards Ceremony & Exhibition @ SCAPE

Singapore Kindness Movement Photo Booth @ ImagiNation, SCAPE

Singapore’s senior minister Goh Chok Tong #KindnessDaySG organised by the @Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM)at SCAPE Singapore’s Playspace. Kindness Day SG is celebrated each year on the last Friday of May, marking an occasion for Singaporeans to come together in celebration of kindness and graciousness.

To illustrate that small acts of graciousness every day were what Singaporeans could do to become a Nation of Kindness, the venue included a multimedia exhibition labelled “ImagiNation” that included videos and interactive show pieces across five halls, that transported visitors across the world into situations where kindness triumphs over unkindness or inaction.

Also in attendance were Dr William Wan, General Secretary of SKM and 10 individuals and organisations that were inducted into SKM’s Kindred Spirit Circle, a group that recognises independent, ground-up efforts to make Singapore better.

This being their third year, Kindness Day SG also marked the first time fully automated photo booths were brought in as part of the occasion. Visitors from the opening to the final day of the exhibition (#7DaysOfKindness) could take photos and come away with a card-sized photo to remember the event, with each photo booth allowing them also to share on social media their experiences and spread the word to better realise Singapore as a Nation of Kindness.

Be Kind!
